Jew Crew is holding it's first ever Jew Crew High School Shabbaton. This Shabbaton is open to all Jew Crew members who are currently students in any public or private high school and it is sure to be a Shabbat filled with memories, fun, learning and friends.

The Shabbaton will begin at 5:30PM on October 8 with a moving candle lighting and Kabbalat Shabbat service which will be immediately followed by a delicious, home-cooked, family-style Shabbat Dinner.

During the day on Saturday, classes and discussions will be held that will be geared specifically towards our older Jew Crew members and will be led by Rabbi Yossi Lipsker, Layah Lipsker and David Nathan. There will also be time for personal reflection and kibbutzing amongst friends (that means time to socialize). We will even be offering a special, private sneak peak of the upcoming JLIteens course, Israel 3D.

Finally, we will bring Shabbat to an end with a moving and musical Havdallah service led by Rabbi Yossi outside on the beach, weather permitting, and for those who would like to stick around and draw out what is sure to be a beautiful Shabbat experience, we will be finishing off the evening with a bonfire, songs, stories and snacks.

The cost of this Shabbaton is only $18, which will include all food and accommodations.

We are very much looking forward to sharing this inspiring Shabbat event with you and please feel free to invite your friends who may not yet be members of the Jew Crew Facebook page or mailing lists.
